How to enable the security tab in folder properties in Windows XP Profesional

Hi All,

Step by step guide on how to enable the security tab in folder properties :

1. Click Start->Run in Start Menu Windows
2. Type “gpedit.msc”, a group policy window will open
3. In that windows, find “Windows Settings” in “Computer Configuration”, then click it
4. Double click “Security Settings” and find “Local Policies”, Then double click it
5. You’ll find “Security Options”, double click it
6. In the right window,  press “N” and search where is “NETWORK ACCESS: SHARING AND SECURITY FOR LOCAL ACCOUNTS” option, then double click
7. New window will pop up, in that window you can see a dropdown box, change the value to “classic: local users
authendicate as themselves”. Then click OK
8. Viola!! Now, you can access security tab in folder properties.
