Step by step guide on how to enable the security tab in folder properties :

1. Click Start->Run in Start Menu Windows
2. Type “gpedit.msc”, a group policy window will open
3. In that windows, find “Windows Settings” in “Computer Configuration”, then click it
4. Double click “Security Settings” and find “Local Policies”, Then double click it
5. You’ll find “Security Options”, double click it
6. In the right window,  press “N” and search where is “NETWORK ACCESS: SHARING AND SECURITY FOR LOCAL ACCOUNTS” option, then double click
7. New window will pop up, in that window you can see a dropdown box, change the value to “classic: local users
authendicate as themselves”. Then click OK
8. Viola!! Now, you can access security tab in folder properties.

Nah setelah puas meng-explore kemampuan windows 7, dan menikmati graphic desktopnya yang lumayan keren, akhirnya saya pun memutuskan untuk melakukan full migrasi ke windows 7. Untuk itu saya pun men-delete partisi windows xp saya dengan menggunakan Paragon Partition Manager 10 untuk windows 7. Dalam pikiran saya setelah saya men-delete partisinya maka di boot order dapat otomatis ter-delete. Ternyata tidak, pilihan “an earlier version of Windows” masih ada di boot order. Wah ga seru klo kyk gini (dalam hati saya berkata).

Akhirnya saya pun ber-googling ria, dan menemukan bahwa boot order itu dapat di edit dengan menggunakan bcdedit.exe. Saya pun mencobanya, tetapi ternyata saya tidak mengerti cara penggunaan tool tsb.  Mbah googlepun kembali aku hujani dengan pertanyaan(halah). Sampai akhirnya saya menemukan tool yang yang sangat mudah digunakan untuk mengedit boot order. Tool tersebut adalah EasyBCD, dimana saya menggunakan versi 1.7.2. Ini merupakan free tool yang bisa anda dapatkan disini.

Kita pun dapat menggunakan cURL dalam syntax php kita, hal ini dikarena php memiliki library yang dapat digunakan untuk menggunakan fasilitas dari cURL. Untuk meng-enable cURL di XAMPP kita membutuhkan untuk memodifikasi file php.ini pada folder XAMPP kita.

Step 1.

Temukan file2 berkut :
C:\Program Files\xampp\apache\bin\php.ini
C:\Program Files\xampp\php\php.ini (or php5.ini)
C:\Program Files\xampp\php\php4\php.ini (untuk XAMPP versi terbaru biasanya file ini tidak ada)

Step 2.

Uncomment baris berikut pada php.ini yang telah anda temukan diatas dengan menghilangkan tanda titikkoma.

Restart Apache server anda

Step 4.

Silahkan check phpinfo() anda, check apakah curl telah enable.

10- Imagine your website in 5 years from now. Complete the sentence: I know my website works because…

11- Name 3 things that are most important about the design of your new website.

12- Name 3 things that is least important in the design of your new website.

13- Do you have any color preferences, existing brand colors, and/or colors you do/not wish to include?

14- What are some existing websites that appeal to you? Provide links if possible.

15-  Deadline, timing or exact date of completion for your website

16- Do you have a budget you are trying to meet?

Additional questions

17- Do you need to be able to update the website on your own? (ie: CMS)

18- Will this be an e-commerce website? Will you be selling any products or taking payments on your website?

19- Do you need a copywriter? If you are using existing copy on your current website, will it need to be modified in any way?

20- Is your logo and other imagery web ready?

21- Do you have all images that you would like to be included in your website or would you like the designer to use imagery where appropriate?

22- How will you be updating the site in the future (if they are not using a CMS)?

23- Will you be needing an additional SEO help (registering with search engines, adding businesses to Google Business Center, Analytic setup, etc.)

24- Do you already have a domain and host setup for your new website? If so, do you have the FTP and host log in information accessible?

25- Any specific features you would like included? Log in ability, calendars, forums, blog, subscription services (RSS, email or newsletters)?

As with my logo questionnaire, I also like to leave my clients with a field or extra room at the end where they can provide additional details and comments.

Also next to each question that may not be so obvious what you are asking them I like to provided additional explanation, examples or notes. For example, when asking them if the need their site to be built on a CMS, I ask if they will be frequently updating (daily or weekly) or only updating once every 6 months or so. Speaking in terms that clients understand will also help to build trust — nothing is worse then spending your money on something you have no idea what you are getting. In short, save the nerd talk.

It’s always important to remember that being a graphic designer means you are a problem solver. You cannot solve a problem without knowing what the problem is – ask questions.

Langkah-langkahnya :

- Install software Nlite-nya

- Masukkan CD windows XP SP3 ke CDROM

- Copy-kan keseluruhan isi CD tersebut ke suatu folder, misal C://WinXP-OS

- Jalankan Nlite, Browse lokasi Win XP

- Pilih Driver dan Bootable ISO

- Masukkan CD Acer lalu sisipkan driver SATA nya

- bikin ISO nya, setelah itu bakar ke dalam CD

- Modified win XP siap dicicipi

Setelah menginstall IIS 5 lewat Control Panel->Add or Remove Programs->Add or Remove Windows Components, kemudian install .net framework 2 ato 3.5. Setelah itu untuk meregister ASP.net ke IIS, masuk ke cmd melalui Start->run kemudian ketik “cmd”. pada windows cmd ketikkan perintah berikut

Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool allows users to create a copy of Windows 7 ISO file on a USB flash drive, USB hard disk or a DVD, by transferring the installation from the ISO image to the medium, and ensuring the DVD or USB drive is bootable. Been bootable mean the media allows users to install Windows 7 after starting up computer directly without having to first run an existing operating system on the machine.

Although burning an ISO to a DVD disc is easy, but converting Windows 7 ISO to a USB drive is much more complex, because ISO cannot be directly ‘burned’ or ‘wrote’ to USB drive. Copying all the content inside the ISO to USB drive also does not work, as the USB drive is not bootable. Hence, WUDT is very useful for Windows 7 users who want to port and transfer Windows 7 setup installation files to USB flash drive or external hard disk, which is also bootable.

Step-by-Step Guide on How to Use Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool to Create Bootable DVD or USB Media

1. Download a Windows 7 ISO.
2. Download and install Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool: Windows7-USB-DVD-tool.exe (official link has been pulled due to possible violation of GPL license).
3. Run the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool.
4. In the Source file box, type the name and path of Windows 7 ISO file, or click Browse and select the file in the Open dialog box, then click Next.
5. Select USB device to create a copy of Windows 7 installation media on a USB flash drive or DVD to create a copy of Windows 7 installation media on a DVD disk, then click Next.
6. Insert USB flash drive or external hard disk into USB port, or DVD disc into DVD writer/burner tray.

Hahaha… Seteleh searching2 di google akhirnya aku nemuin semacam addons buat window explorer yang dapat nampilin size dari folder. Silahkan download disini untuk 32-bit, dan disini untuk 64-bit

Cara Menggunakan Folder Size:

1. Pastikan anda menggunakan windows 2000 atau XP, untuk saat ini vista masih belum bisa
2. Download installernya
3. Jalankan file hasil download dan ikuti step-step yang ada
4. Sekarang Folder Size telah ada di Explorer anda, tapi belum ditampilkan, ganti “views” dari Explorer anda menjadi “Details”
5. Klik kanan pada column header untuk melihat daftar kolom yang bisa Anda tambahkan. Pilih Folder Size
6. Sekarang Anda dapat mengganti kolom “Size” yang ada dengan kolom “Folder Size” yang baru. Klik kanan pada column headers dan uncheck kolom “Size”. Drag header kolom “Folder Size” ke tempat dimana kolom “Size” dulunya berada.
7. Jadikan tampilan ini sebagai default view untuk semua folder. Piih “Folder Options ….” dari “Tools” menu. Pada tab “View”, klik “Apply to All Folders”

Untuk Merubah settingan Folder Size, Silahkan masuk ke Control Panel cari Folder Size.
